Return to the Valley: The Japanese American experience after World War II, tells the poignant story of what happened to the Issei and Nisei generation when they came back home after internment. This Emmy Award winning documentary begins with the journey home from the camps, then describes the Nisei generation taking over the rebuilding of their community. In addition, the program describes the emotional and psychological impact of the internment and resettlement on the Issei and Nisei generation.
