Fighting the War

This documentary shows numerous scenes of combat on the Western Front during the First World War. Large numbers of soldiers are shown as they are being rushed to the front lines. Several scenes of trench warfare follow, displaying typical tactics and hazards. These are followed by an extensive sequence of aerial combat.
