Set in New York City, Conflict features several loosely related stories centering on a pair of documentary filmmakers, Ricci and her husband Ted. It follows a group of Caucasian teens who try to fit in with Harlem's black hip-hop crowd who include gangster rapper Dante and his music partner Steve in landing a recording gig.
