Private Detective Lola Bumgard is challenged to solve a murder that takes place in the back alley behind the classy jazz lounge, Chat Noir. When an ex-lover turns out to be a patron at the scene of the crime, things take a turn for the worse as the detective must make a difficult decision when she uncovers whom the culprit is.
