Experimental film. In 1997 the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires include this work in a Charif's cinematography retrospective. There, thirteen techniques of his invention were seen. In 1998 the Theory of Image Centre includes a new retrospective of Charif in a festival among three filmmakers: Werner Schroeter, Michael Verhoeven and Werner Herzog. Just before that, Bravo TV showed for the first time "Barroco Natural: el nuevo éxito de la industria del cine" (Natural Baroque: the new success of film industry), in the program "Cinelimite" with films by Maya Deren, Kenneth Anger and Stan Brackhage.
