A behind-the-scenes look at the set and the making of "Oliver!" (1968). Included here are ensemble dance scenes and scenes of London's streets teeming with guards, fishmongers, swells, and Fagin's army of little pickpockets. We watch director Carol Reed work with set designers, a composer, and the camera crew. In contrast to the ruddy and open faces of most of the actors is that of wan and wistful Mark Lester, who plays the title role.
