A Star Too Far

After traveling fifty years in hibernation, commander Malcolm reaches Epsilon Eridani just to find himself beaten by Richards, commander of a second expedition. He has lost not only the glory of a first place, but also a whole life left behind and a love: Alice, a scientist involved in the project who decided to remain on Earth. Malcolm tries to escape from this unfair reality of useless sacrifice, but finally a message from the past reconciles him with his present.
