Alone

This is a classic tale of man meets woman with a twist. In New York City, a lonely older man wants to communicate with his distant wife. Elsewhere in the city, a lonesome young woman arrives at a crossroads in her life when she discovers that the only person she trusts has betrayed her. Then one day, which is a normal lonely day for him but a day of redemption for her, the two of them meet for the first time at a mutually beloved place: the Brooklyn Promenade. The connection between them is unlike any they have established with the people already in their lives. Now the young woman wants to continue on her path of redemption, starting with her desire to reconnect with her estranged parents while the older man desperately wants to pursue her. However, on their journeys, painful memories of love lost and betrayal as well as a startling realization lead them to the ultimate crisis and "a surprise ending."
