Motodrom

In Hamburg, in stop action, we watch a motodrom being assembled. Spectators ring the cylindrical structure from above. Three drivers enter; there are four motorcycles and one race car. Sometimes one driver speeds around the motodrom's walls parallel to the ground, coming close to the top, scaring the spectators. Sometime three cyclists trail each other. Sometimes it's the race car, with a driver and another stuntman standing above him. One driver, Jagath, rides with his hands not touching the handles, then he sits and stands astride his bike, again with no hands. The drivers are impassive. The sounds are those of the bikes and of applause. No one speaks.
