Someone for Everyone

I recently bought a copy of this film. It is not something I would watch over and over again, but it has its laughs. The movie revolves around 4 geeky friends, who make a pact to find dates for a dinner party by the end of the week. The first 20 minutes of the movie could have just been cut out. There were too many unfunny moments before they got to the actual plot of the film. Once the "pact" is signed the movie gets going. Most of the jokes are "hit or miss". The 4 main characters are most of the "miss" moments. The fun, bright performances by the supporting cast, helps the movie along. I really liked the scenes with Tiffany (Bobbi Jean Basche), the sweet and beautiful co-worker who gets invited to the dinner party by one of the roommates, who is no way in her league, yet treats her awful! Also, Derek (Micah Shane Ballinger), the gay "hottie" who all the girls love, but the guys are jealous of. And also Kristi (Autumne Sorgius), who is the ditzy, hot girl at the cable company, where some of the roommates work. Overall I gave the movie a 5 out of 10. At a running time of 2 hours and 20 minutes!!!, its hard to give it anything higher than that. I would love to see a re-edited version with about 30-40 minutes cut out!
