Nonnevotte
The documentary "Nonnevotte" got its name from a special kind of donut, which only gets made in the south of the Netherlands, where the people celebrate carnival. The film shows how Leny and her daughter Rachelle are working at their bakery store in Sittard during the rituals of carnival. Sometimes it seems that there's only hard work and no play. The story of Leny's life is therefore a warning for Rachelle not to follow her mother's footsteps.
