A dark coming-of-age tale set in a world of fallen Americana: a Chevy truck, a hot desert, a dog, and a teenage boy set out on the road. Lost on the side of the highway, he is forced to reevaluate himself in a brief, but inescapable confrontation with the cruelty of others.
