Suction

Sophia Martin and her friend are sitting on their porch joking and playing games. Whip, a local drug dealer is hanging out near Sophia's house awaiting a drug deal. Luke Kearns, a rival drug dealer drives up and attempts to shoot Whip. He misses and hits Sophia in the stomach. Sophia's mom hears the shot and rushes out frantically to see what happened. Luke Kearns is suspected by the police of the crime. He is brought in to the police station where he is interrogated by Detective Lombardi to no avail. Detective Caruso is not satisfied with Detective Lombardi's interrogation techniques and attempts to evoke a confession through more violent means. Detective Lombardi has the idea to hook Luke up to a Xerox polygraph of his own invention and tricks Luke into confessing. At the close of the movie we see that Sophia has survived the shooting and is reunited with her mother and friend.
