Little Victories

Sam visits his mom four times a week at her assisted living facility where he tries to have conversations with her to stimulate her memory. When he thinks his mom is confused and doesn't know who he is, Sam becomes worried not only for her but also for himself. He's heard that dementia can be hereditary. In a bittersweet turn of events, Sam learns that his mother is doing better than he thought.
