The Salt of the West

Sara is a little Arabic girl living with her family in a place where Arabs are segregated across the countryside and their language is forbidden. In an attempt to hold on to their identity, her father teaches her how to read. Reading awakens her to the power of her imagination and the beauty of childhood, but it also becomes a real danger for Sara and her family.
