You can make out clearly that Karthik has come of age in this movie . He is focussed and serious in his role . Shobhana hardly has any role except prancing around in glamorous dresses . Kuyili is pretty and has a great figure . She shows it off in dance sequences . Veteran Jayanti is the helpful paper editor . She has a cringing role where she is asked to undress. Wonder how she agreed with Karthik who must he 2 decades younger than her .Karthik's father Ravi is accused of murdering Sheela who was running a flower shop in a 5 star hotel . Now he is holed up in a mental asylum . Karthik is studying in a convent in Ooty . When he comes to know this , he comes to Chennai and tries to uncover the truth with Shobhana and Jayanti . A tightly knit crime and court drama. Karthik is the back bone of this movie .He emotes, dances very well. No wonder he became a versatile family hero .
