The Prisoner's Dilemma

When a planet's entire population uses up all of their resources, they set course for a new planet to rebuild civilisation. During the journey, all beings are placed into cryosleep, all but one ship crew member in charge for 5 years until awoken by the next. Adam faces his last day being in control of the ship's safety with the aid of I.R.I.S., a computer A.I. When it finally becomes time to join the others in cryosleep, a series of serious issues on the spaceship lead him to discover a terrible secret about the computer interface that keeps him company.
