A man wakes incarcerated for a crime he does not remember. As he struggles to find out what sin he has committed, he becomes aware that it is much more grave than what he thought possible. But once his fate has been decided, the audience realizes it has merely been observing a stage play; which then evolves into a tirade about the 'art' of filmmaking.
