In New Dallas, former street drugs have been eradicated, but in its place there's Somnium, a hyper-altered dream experience, accessed through VR has replaced the former narcotics. Many in society support its usage and support Caesar Corporation the leading producer of the immersive experience; but an underground fringe organization called Shadow, leads the ranks in the fight against Somnium.
