A team of scientists from Knoxville, Tennessee's Forensic Research Facility have 38 bodies in chaparral to investigate; they take some tissue samples and leave for the lab. Meanwhile, fraternity brothers from Sigma Delta Epsilon take Michael, a pledge, to the site - they call it a body farm - and instruct him to ford a creek, enter a cabin, and snip a finger for a corpse there, videotaping the entire event. They'll wait for him on the other side of a fence. Michael does as he's told, but maybe these aren't dead bodies after all.
