5 May 2002. Dutch general elections. The political party established by Pim Fortuyn is making strong headway in the polls. In a hotel room in Rotterdam an assassin prepares to murder Pim Fortuyn. He has planned everything carefully but when he unexpectedly meets the daughter of a former assassin his plans are thrown into confusion. By meeting this intriguing woman he is confronted with the consequences that his planned actions will have for his own daughter.
