Bandleader Hal Kemp leads his band in the playing of "Vagabond Dreams," written by 'Hoagy Carmichael' and in his own arrangement of "In an 18th Century Drawing Room." They also play "Swampfire,", and original introduced by Kemp. Supplying the vocals on "In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree" is a radio-stage-screen trio called The Smoothies, in which they also imitate various rhythm-trios of the time, including the Guy Lombardo Trio.
