Florence never knew her father who died just before her birth, and her mother gave her up at the age of six months. At 37, she is still unable to accept her mother's rejection. "Princess of Comborcière", she now runs a gay and lesbian hotel in France's Savoy region and organized the first world's first gay ski meeting. The film explores the issue of coming to terms with the absence of a mother's love.
