'Open Skies' is about a young mother who takes her six year old boy to the beach for the first time and she shows him lots of beautiful things. At sunset, she lies down on the beach embracing her boy and falls asleep. When she opens her eyes her child is gone. Now everything, which was once safe and beautiful, becomes threatening and menacing as she frantically searches for her missing child.
