Judah returns to Trinidad and Tobago to to find Ellie, who he learns has gone missing. Her parents received a text from her phone saying that she is "ok" and just needs some "time away". The police have classified the case as a runaway youth, but when Judah experiences vivid mental images upon entering her home, he definitely knew something was wrong.
