The Sound of Silence Apathy from the world is certain when one chooses detachment. A father would never want this - the separation from his son. But this relationship between a father and son is a bond of two different people whose perceptions may vary. This is a story of one such son who wants to break all the thread of worldly affairs. He wants to leave behind the materialistic needs and dissolve himself into nature to find the Truth of Life. The father couldn't fathom the seeds of these thoughts in his son's minds. The son tried many times to convey his aversion to the materialistic world. Those mountains are his home. But the father held their relationship as the base for the decision. The son did not let the relation dampen his decision. He did what he wished to do. He chose the mountains. He chose to disappear. He chose the river that never stops. He chose the meadows covered with the fresh dew. He chose his self, his own voice. He chose apathy. He chose detachment.
