Some of the last footage shot in the Belgian Congo following the outbreak of World War II, this short consists of just part of the footage shot by Commander Attilio Gatti, during a year's expedition through the swamps and jungle in search of the Okapi, a fabulous animal that was worth over $30,000 when captured alive. A lot of the footage used pictures the resourcefulness of Gatti's pygmy guides in bridging rivers and cutting through dense forests.
