Safaibaaz - The Scavenger

The movie 'Safaibaaz' is a testament to those unfortunate souls who enter into the sewer lines to clean the filth generated by society but fail to come out alive. This movie is an attempt to pay tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives to keep society clean and healthy but whose sacrifices have gone unsung and unhonoured. The story of the film deals with the issue of social status, the abject living and working conditions of that detested but essential section of our society which lives a very insecure existence. The film reveals that these unfortunate people who clear our dirt and filth become themselves so dirty that our society detests them. It is a travesty why do we look down upon the very people who ensure our clean existence.
