A 90-year old barber is forced out of his live-in barber shop by a Persian family that is gentrifying an old Italian neighborhood in Chicago. Stuck in despair, the barber attempts to take his own life, before he is found and saved by his rookie cop great-grandson, Antone. After Antone investigates the situation, he decides to take an offer from family related mob-ties to fix the situation.
