Barry Paul, a young drag queen fresh out of high school in Baltimore, reflects on her family life, coming out as gay and performing in the ballrooms of the early 1990s. In John Waters' hometown there was a wave of performers in the late 80s and early 90s that took over the gay clubs. This is just one of those stories.
