Rachel works as a commercial editor. While at work, she envisions her new relationship with David come alive on her video screen. Displeased with what she sees, Rachel does some judicious editing to create a more agreeable scenario. Eventually her fearful imaginings become a self-fulfilling prophecy, leaving her romance on the cutting room floor.
