Green Grass

Two hopeful migrants make the long, arduous journey across a desolate landscape toward the promise of a better life. Tracked by vultures and threatened by the fury of the elements they navigate the extreme distance to arrive at the ultimate obstacle to their dream; a barrier so massive and ominous that knowledge of its existence is deterrence enough for most. But they have a plan. They set it in motion. And it works. At least they think it does. Until they're forced to consider their destination may no longer be the place they believed it was.
