Dundee-based artist Joe Alcorn has a lifetime of work, rarely seen by the public. Aged 66, he finally tells his story and that of Scotland's polytheistic ancestors, the Picts. With unprecedented access to his studio, The Modern Day Pict examines Alcorn's concerns about democracy and religion, as well as his creative struggles after the loss of his partner.
