A winged race of miniature people' the illumins' observe from a distance a stranger within his home. The stranger tries to trace where the mutterings are coming from. Are the chatterings coming from inside his head or within the walls and cracks of his rundown dwelling? Is someone or thing watching him. Is it a supernatural presence that wishes no harm but only understanding and compassion?
