Dan Reeder came to Nuremberg in 1986 because of love. In the atmosphere of the legendary artists' pub "Gregor Samsa", he immediately found the connection and the support he needed to be successful as a painter. Gallery owners and art critics alike appreciate the established "kamikaze painter", as he calls himself. But then he surprises everyone again. He starts with self-made instruments, composes, he writes the lyrics, he sings, plays and produces himself - a crossover of his American roots from gospel, folk, blues and country - and ends up in Nashville, the Mecca of American music production. The exquisite label "OhBoy Records" publish his songs.
