Set in an underwear factory called Material World Garments, "Number Nine" tells the story of Inspector #9, a meek briefs inspector who is constantly bullied by Inspector #1 and scolded by Mr. Decique, his gorilla- like boss. #9's job is put in jeopardy when it is discovered that he is color-blind, and to top it off, while being tormented by #1, he accidentally approves a pair of torn briefs. This could be the worst day of #9's life, until he meets Miss #9, his equivalent in the brassier department. Miss #9 becomes a rare friend in a cold world.
