Jackson Ray is a feisty, eighty-year-old man who enjoys his independent lifestyle and his abnormally large collection of clocks. His son, Phillip, is concerned about Jackson's ability to live by himself. When the family arrives for Thanksgiving dinner, the showdown for Jackson's independence begins. As time runs out, the old man finds himself up a creek without a clock.
