Mercury Griffith has spent the majority of her life looking after her rambunctious mother. She's a young artist that wants to go away to college. Mercury's mother, Eva doesn't want her to go. Out of desperation Eva latches onto Mercury's boyfriend. What begins as an innocent attempt to keep Mercury home, maybe the very catalyst that pushes her to say goodbye forever.
