Rhonda and Pierre are driven to extremes by images of the deaths of their beloved pussycats, but their dangerous plans are interrupted by their unexpected meeting and comical mutual misunderstanding. The surprise return of Rhonda's husband with her mysterious cat named Mort propels the story to its tragic end.
