Bastar, a natural-resource rich but poor tribal majority region, has been at conflict with the modern Industrial INDIA, ever since its accession in 1948. People haven't forgotten their erstwhile king Shri Pravir Chandra, killed in police firing in 1966 allegedly for giving a political voice to tribal's concerns. The documentary explores his relevance to Bastar's people today and how his memory has become a substitute for hopelessness people feel with the current political system.
