When Jacob returns home from his first semester at college for winter break, he expects his life to pick up where it left off. Instead he is forced to come to grips with the fact that life does not stay constant at home; his high school sweetheart Ashley has moved on, and his dog "Pavlov" is sick, forcing Jacob to confront the loss of the two loves in his life.
