In the life story of some people, the background of a population condemned to quarantine and isolation due to a widespread pandemic due to an isolated virus such as Sars Cov2 is revealed. A mother is anxious about her daughter's job at the forefront of the fight against the virus; a father of two without work and reimbursements, is far from his wife who has chosen to live separately in order not to expose the family to a possible contagion. The lives of family members revolve by telephone around Stefania: mother, wife, daughter who, in addition to carrying the weight of an invisible war to be fought in person, must instill protection and courage in those who have always counted on her and who on the phone shares its drama.The short film draws its genesis from the real Pandemic that has affected the population since January 2020. The issues of interest concern the family first and foremost. Affections divided, distant, worried about each other's fate. A family unit is the protagonist of this story. An elderly mother whose remaining life purpose is to spend her daily life with the affection of her grandchildren and her daughter, friend and partner in sharing: her experience in quarantine is like an early death sentence. A young husband who has temporarily lost his job as an artist, one of the categories most affected by the pandemic: in the foreground there are his frustrations as a man, due to the distance from his wife forced to isolate himself in another house to protect them from possible contagion , the management of two young children without the help of anyone and his nature as an exuberant artist and dreamer that needs continuous confirmation. And then she, Stefania, the protagonist, mother, wife and daughter who as a health worker, must not only fulfill her duties in the front line by risking her life to treat and assist patients, but for the empathy and generosity that distinguishes whoever chooses that profession must also take charge of morally supporting family members with their problems. The stories explained through the telephone dialogues are inspired by real life stories, later fictionalized and adapted in the script. Stefania really exists in reality. An emotional cross-section of the bond that is created in the hospital between operator and patient flows through his eyes: dramatic, intense, lacerating, the more raw and extreme are the conditions of suffering experienced.
