After a trying day working as a waitress, insecure, self-conscious Christine fears she may lose her job. In a fit of anxiety, she accidentally snaps a wishbone, which she believes prevents her from being fired. This sets off a chain of increasingly selfish wishes until Christine, like the wishbones, snaps.
