Jonah's mother passes away when he is just a child. He promises her that he will take care of his father and that they will lead a happy life together. Growing up he realizes how hard that promise was to keep. His father became an alcoholic and he becomes a rebel that gets into street fights for money. When everything comes crashing down one day he must decide whether he is going to continue down the wrong path or try to salvage the promise he made with his mother.
