Two couples celebrate the same day every year; April 9th. One couple meet every April 9th to remember the birthday of their baby daughter Rebecca, given up for adoption 15 years ago. She is a successful and well-known actor who flies to Ireland every year to meet her ex partner who is now in a relationship and is the father of two small children and to remember the little girl. She decides she wants to find their daughter. The other couple are a quiet and settled pair who have two teenage sons. They too remember their daughter Amy's birthday on April 9th as they visit her grave and read birthday cards written by themselves and the two brothers. The headstone reads Amy Rebecca Watts - April 9th 2004 to May 15th 2012.
