Ismael, a heart-broken villager, undertakes a metaphorical journey of renewal through the jungles of Colombia, incited by a mysterious companion. Upon reaching a tumultuous river, he is faced with a crossroads: to take the easy path of comfort or to risk it all for a chance at happiness. This too, is the crossroads Colombia is facing: to continue as it has been, or travel a new path to true reconciliation.
