Pillars of Smoke

Location: Israel. A bothersome mystery violating the silence in the north: every member of the young Kibutz "Timrot Ashan" have disappeared in a mysterious way. Lea Kapka (Efrat Ben-Tzur), a young police investigator from the center which specialize in cults, arriving to the north to decipher this mystery. Few of the locals are to help and few others are going against her: Naftali Shemesh (Yoram Toledano), the "Local sheriff" believes that Lea is the symbol of a total loss of values; The chief of the Northern Command (Shay Avivi), an army man who is a nature fan; Assa Moked (Tsachi Grad), the fatherly chief of the police station, hides a terrible secret; Bat-Kol (Marina Maksimilian-Blumin), the duty officer at the station and more.
