Morris Kaplan, a young unaffiliated Jew, has one tie to his heritage - a Stetson fedora hat. When an old friend invites him to his Synagogue, Morris is reawakened to religion just in time to find his precious hat is missing, leading to a journey both tangible and spiritual.
