As part of Mental Healthy F.I.T.'s ongoing creativity to end stigma campaign, we took a few moments with Wendy and Valerie to lend an ear to hear their stories. We also brought in Alexander to help us see and feel what Body dysmorphic disorder might be like. BDD is a mental disorder in which you can't stop thinking about one or more perceived defects or flaws in your appearance - a flaw that, to others, is either minor or not observable. But you may feel so ashamed and anxious that you may avoid many social situations. Remember there is always help. Please ask.
