Version 0.9 is a murder story set in the near-future. Dr. Penn has creates the first fully sentient Artificial Intelligence system and puts it through tests. However, the newly created life-form knows of past mistakes and will not continue with the tests until it is backed-up onto an older model. The scientists have no choice but to comply and later find out their mistake.
